Welcome to the Windward Half Marathon & 5k – one of the biggest running events in Hawaii!

This race has been a local favorite for many years, and for good reason. From the scenic course to the supportive volunteers, you’re sure to have a memorable experience.

Course Description

The half marathon begins in front of the Kailua Intermediate School and takes you towards Kailua Road, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the ocean in the distance.
The half marathon also offers ample support for runners. Participants of all levels are welcome, whether you’re running your first half marathon or you’re a seasoned runner looking to beat your personal best. The race is organized by the largest running club in Hawaii, so it’s a well-managed event with experienced race directors.
