Overview

Join this brand-new summer running festival on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at scenic Lincoln Park—just across the Hudson from Manhattan. Organized by CityTri in partnership with JCFamilies, the event features a USATF-certified half marathon, plus 10K and 5K distances.

The course is a fast, flat looped circuit along Liberty State Park paths, perfect for pacing and fan support. Half marathoners complete four laps, enabling live lap-by-lap tracking via RaceJoy/RaceMap and a YouTube livestream finish—ideal for cheering squads and pacing strategy.

Expect full support: aid stations every 1.5–2 miles offering water, Gatorade, electrolyte gels; volunteers, waste stations, and real-time digital timing ensure a smooth experience. Swag includes a technical T-shirt, die-cast finisher medal, live race photos, and fun awards with a savvy “Golden Drum Stick” flair for top finishers.

What truly stands out?

  • Urban-riverfront scenery: NYC skyline views, shady park paths, and a fan-friendly loop format.
  • Tech-savvy race tracking with live splits, digital tracking, and finish-line video keeps both runners and supporters engaged.
  • Charity-driven: a portion of proceeds supports JCFamilies, a local non-profit empowering Jersey City families.
  • Thoughtful summer timing: mid-August in Jersey City means warmth and energy, creating a festive community atmosphere.
