Fredericksburg lies an hour or so northwest of San Antonio, and an hour or so west of Austin. Keep this in mind when you make your way out from either locale. Or find yourself a place to stay in town and enjoy what it offers before or after the race.
We’ll have a 13.1 half marathon, 10k and 5k. We’ll start at the Marktplatz (Market Square) in the heart of Fredericksburg. Half marathon runners will run to the famous Crabapple Road, which has great views and rolling hills in one large loop. Participants will return there, and be close to restaurants, clubs, shopping, wine, beer and German-style hospitality.
We will also have a Costume CONTEST! Release your inner hippie and bring back the funky. We encourage everyone to dress up and have fun!
Every one of our races support a local non-profit to improve and spread awarness on noble causes and to help those in need. For Wanderlust we support Marrow Match, Guide Dogs of Texas, and San Antonio Young Marines.
