Overview

Experience a fun, nostalgic run as the course winds through local parks and public trail systems. The route offers a variety of natural surroundings and open areas, creating a refreshing outdoor backdrop for your 1980s-themed journey — perfect for runners embracing neon, retro gear, and big hair energy. Terrain & Surfaces Surfaces may include paved paths with the possibility of mixed terrain such as packed dirt, gravel, or crushed stone depending on the location. The course is designed for smooth, steady running regardless of experience level. Elevation & Difficulty Expect a generally friendly layout with mild to moderate elevation changes. Whether the course features rolling sections or flatter stretches, it’s ideal for first-timers, returning runners, and anyone racing with retro flair. Aid Stations & Support Aid stations appear at regular intervals and include water and support staff. Clear signage, course monitors, and route markers help keep every runner safe and on track as they move through the decades. Start/Finish & Experience From the moment you arrive, you’ll be immersed in full 80’s energy — music, colors, and retro vibes everywhere. The start/finish area features a lively rally atmosphere with a DJ spinning 80’s hits, snacks, medals, and high-energy staff celebrating every finisher. Chip timing is provided for longer distances, while fun runs keep things relaxed and festive. General Notes for Runners The event takes place in public parks and shared greenbelts, so expect occasional park users along the way. Races proceed rain or shine, so dress accordingly — sweatbands and windbreakers welcome. And don’t forget to check for updates before race day to stay in the loop.
