A vibrant new addition to the Jersey Shore’s racing calendar, Run The Crest is a weekend-running festival held October 3–4, 2025 at Centennial Park, Wildwood Crest. The event kicks off with a Friday evening 5K (5:30 PM), followed by a Saturday morning half marathon (8:00 AM), 10 K (9:00 AM), and Kids’ fun run (11:00 AM) to keep the community spirit alive.
Expect flat, scenic paved courses winding through the Crest’s coastal beachfront and residential paths—ideal for PR-chasers and first-time half marathoners. The festival-style setup includes team competition categories (e.g. first responders, military, tri clubs), race bundle options, and a referral program unlocking race fee refunds for bringing in friends.
Post-race, the park transforms into a lively celebration hub with food trucks, vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly games. And unlike many point-to-point shoreside races, Run The Crest keeps runners close to the finish and fan zone—making this a great experience for spectators too.
A highlight is the charity partnership with Amanda’s Wish Foundation, which supports children through scholarships and programs in memory of Amanda Holland. Proceeds also benefit community recreation in the Crest.
Why Run The Crest stands out
This event merges weekend running with beachside festival life—combining a flat, fast coastal course perfect for PRs with social zones, evening 5K fun, and support for a local charity. The team categories, referral perks, and family-inclusive design make it as much a community celebration as it is a race.
