Overview

Rodeo Stampede — Fort Worth, TX Hit the trail at Marine Creek Lake for a fast, scenic loop-style race along one of Fort Worth’s most runner-friendly waterfront paths. The Rodeo Stampede course circles portions of the lake on wide, well-maintained paved and crushed-granite trails with gentle rolling terrain and open views. Expect a smooth, enjoyable route with aid stations spaced roughly every 1.5 miles. Runners will experience the full western-themed Rodeo Stampede vibe—cowboy costumes, DJ Sasquatch keeping the energy high, Bigfoot cheering and posing for photos, and the signature Bigfoot Running Company finish-line celebration. All distances include a belt-buckle finisher medal and soft race tee. Choose from the 1 Mile, 5K, Quarter Marathon, or Half Marathon, all featuring chip timing (except the 1 Mile), live results, overall and masters awards, and full age-group recognition. The course is open, scenic, well-marked, and fun in any weather—rain or shine. Whether you’re aiming for a PR on this lakeside loop or just want to enjoy the Fort Worth scenery with a rodeo twist, the Rodeo Stampede at Marine Creek Lake delivers an exciting, fully supported race experience for runners of all skill levels.
