Kick up some dust at Fair Oaks Park as you take on the Rodeo Stampede in the heart of North Dallas! This course winds through the park’s paved paths, open greenbelt areas, and tree-lined connectors, offering a mostly flat, fast-running experience with a few gentle rises. Mixed surfaces—including pavement, crushed granite, and light dirt sections—may appear depending on the route. Aid stations will be placed roughly every 1.5 miles for steady hydration and support. Runners will enjoy the full western-themed experience that defines the Rodeo Stampede: cowboy costumes, DJ Sasquatch keeping the party going, Bigfoot on-site for photos and high-fives, and the signature Bigfoot Running Company finish-line energy. All participants receive a belt-buckle finisher medal and soft race tee. Choose from the 1 Mile, 5K, Quarter Marathon, or Half Marathon, each featuring live timing (except the 1 Mile), overall and masters awards, and full age-group recognition. The course is well-marked, beginner-friendly, and enjoyable rain or shine. Whether you’re chasing a PR or soaking up the Texas rodeo spirit, the Rodeo Stampede at Fair Oaks Park delivers a lively, well-supported race experience for runners of all levels.
