We are proud to announce the 4th annual Macon Music Half Marathon to be held on November 21, 2026. It will start and end in Carolyn Crayton Park (Central City Park). Following three successful years with runners from 26 states, we are thrilled to plan for an even better event in 2026. The course will take you by locations showing the musical heritage of Macon including the Grand Opera House, the Big House, Little Richard’s home, Capricorn Studios, Otis Redding Foundation, and Mercer’s McDuffie Center for Strings as well as other historic and cultural sites. Attractions along the course are currently being planned. The course will be the same, starting in the Carolyn Crayton Park and ending in historic Luther Williams Field.

Course Description
Participants are advised to leave bikes, pets, and skates behind. Baby joggers or strollers are allowed, but please use caution to ensure the safety of passengers and fellow athletes. Walkers welcome. A 3.5-hour time limit is given for the course (a pace of 16:00 min/mile). No refunds or transfers allowed.
