Head to the Beach is a half-marathon (5k option) race on beautiful Islesboro Island. Located in Penobscot Bay, it is a short 15-minute boat ride across from Lincolnville, Maine. The views are extraordinary, the route fluctuating between easy breezy and slight difficulty, and the race crew is encouraging and supportive. Come race with us!

Overview
Course Description
The race begins at Islesboro Sporting Club and runs north around Turtle Head. Â The course then runs south along the main road. The 5K ends at Blueberry Hill and the Half Marathon finishes at Town Beach.
