Experience a vibrant blend of running and craft beer at the Beer City Half™ Orange County in Santa Ana, CA. Beginning at Centennial Park, this event opens the door to the best Southern California running + brewery scenes in one celebratory morning.
Participants can choose from a half marathon (8:30 AM), 10K (9:00 AM), 5K (9:30 AM), Beer Stroll (1-mile walk, 9:40 AM), and the “Beat the Beast Beer Mile” at 11:00 AM. All distances follow a largely flat out-and-back course along the Santa Ana River Trail, connecting to coastal communities like Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach.
Registration includes a Shin-dig festival post-race, featuring local craft beers, live music, food trucks, and games—with runners receiving a tasting glass and first pour included in their entry. Every finisher also takes home a custom shirt and “Key to Beer City” medal, ideal for completing the Beer City Series or Slammer challenges.
The event is open and inclusive—non-beer-drinkers are welcome, as is the “Beer Stroll” for those focused on community and experience over pace.
