Overview

The Alien Run Half Marathon is an intergalactic-themed race held annually in Long Beach, California. This event offers runners a unique opportunity to experience the scenic beauty of the Long Beach waterfront while participating in a well-organized race.

Organized by High Tide Runs, the event includes multiple race distances—Half Marathon, 10-Miler, 10K, and 5K—catering to a wide range of participants. The course is a flat, out-and-back route along the beach path, with the Half Marathon starting at 7:00 AM PDT. This setup allows runners to enjoy continuous ocean views and the refreshing sea breeze.

Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere with free race photos, finisher medals for all, and awards for the top male and female finishers in each distance. The race is stroller and walker-friendly, making it accessible to runners of all levels. With its combination of scenic beauty, community spirit, and well-executed race logistics, the Alien Run Half Marathon offers an exceptional racing experience for both local and visiting runners.
